An Iranian Muay Thai fighter suffered what might go down in the history books as one of the worst broken noses ever during a match over the weekend. And the video has since gone viral, causing the internet to react in shock and horror over the gruesome injury.

Shayan Heydari was facing off against 26-year-old Thai native Por Tor Thor Petchrungruang when he got drilled with a brutal uppercut in the second round. As you can see in the below clip, which has already been viewed over eight million times,  Heydari’s nose was smashed to the right as if it were made out of Silly Putty.

“Let’s see here in slow motion,” the commentator could be heard saying. “He just sent his nose … to another dimension, I must say!”

Heydari could be seen covering his face and dropping to his knees in the immediate aftermath of the haymaker. TMZ reports that the fight was then called off and Petchrungruang was named the winner by TKO.

As the video began making the rounds on X, some users resorted to humor. “Good use of the nose to block that uppercut,” quipped one user, while another joked: “That mf can smell around corners now.” A third even added that Petchrungruang should have “reset” his face with a left uppercut.

Oh nooooo. Line him up for a left uppercut and reset that shit https://t.co/MjT5HmZrAo

According to the National Health Service, a broken nose typically begins to get better in about three days and can fully heal on its own within three weeks. However, given the severity of the injury, it seems clear that Heydari will require surgery to repair the damage.
