If they can produce such an amazing dish in a football stadium, surely you can do the same at home.

Even without the bacon, there’s nothing wrong with this dish. The potatoes come out fluffy and are delicious topped with sour cream, onions, and cheddar cheese. But when you wrap that potato in bacon, things reach another level of flavor. It becomes something so good you want to have it again and again. In fact, when you wrap bacon around a baked potato, it becomes a full meal. After all, it becomes meat with potatoes, and that’s definitely a full meal.

That being said, you don’t have to wrap your baked potato with bacon every time. There are other ways to enjoy potatoes, including a classic baked potato or baked sweet potatoes. How to Make Ahead and Store?

To prepare ahead of time, you can do everything up until it’s time to put the potatoes in the oven. With leftovers, you can wrap them up tightly and they will remain good for up to 4 days.

Should I wrap the potatoes in foil?

This is a matter of personal preference. Wrapping baked potatoes in foil can help them stay warmer longer and tends to result in a softer potato.

Let it cool

Don’t forget to allow baked potatoes to cool for up to 10 minutes after they come out of the oven. At that point, it’s okay to start adding toppings.

Instructions
