Luke Bryan Takes Hard Onstage Fall on Fan’s Cell Phone, Jokes About Lawsuit

Luke Bryan had an unfortunate moment on stage this weekend when he accidentally slipped and fell on a fan’s phone 

Bryan was performing at the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday when he suddenly found himself flying backwards, landing hard on his back. Although he was momentarily stunned, the country star eventually rose up with a big smile on his face.

“Hold on. Did anybody get that?” he asked. “I need some[thing] viral, this is viral, all right. This is viral.”

He even located the fan in the front row whose phone he slipped on, forgiving them with a quick gibe. “It’s OK. Hey, my lawyer will be calling,” he said. 

The 47 year old luckily made a quick recovery, and went on to finish off his set. He’s in good company. Recent on-stage falls from the likes of Gerard Piqué, Chevy Chase, and more have also grabbed headlines and internet attention.
