These Are the Top 10 Hottest Concert Tours This Summer by Ticket Price
With summer around the corner, many of the music industry’s biggest artists and bands are going on tour and performing in stadiums, arenas, and music festivals around the world. Rising ticket prices in recent years have been an obstacle for many music fans, and the most in-demand concerts might be a costly experience this year.
Ticketing site Gametime examined the median concert ticket prices for major artists and bands on tour this summer and shared with Men’s Journal the top 10 acts that will cost the most to see. Topping the list with a median ticket price of nearly $1,000 is Grammy-winning pop star Olivia Rodrigo. The “Vampire” singer embarked on her Guts World Tour in the U.S. back in February and will return for another North American leg in July and August.
In second place with a median ticket price of $619.50 is singing and dancing sensation Bruno Mars, who will kick off the next leg of his Las Vegas residency in June and perform another 12 shows. Controversial country singer Morgan Wallen sits in third at a median price of $562.50 per ticket.
Legacy bands The Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam are both on tour this summer, with Pearl Jam’s shows going for an average of $523 and Stones tickets selling for $430. Rounding out the top 10 is high-flying pop singer P!nk at $381.
