Where to Get Free Donuts for National Donut Day
June 7 is National Donut Day, and if you’re looking for a sweet treat, some of the nation’s largest chains want to help you celebrate. For one day only, you’ll be able to get free or deeply discounted donuts at a variety of different places.
What you get—and how you get it—varies by company. Read on to learn how you can treat yourself today.
Dunkin’
Stop into any Dunkin’ location on June 7 and you’ll get a free donut with a purchase of a drink. But that’s not all the beloved brand is doing to celebrate the occasion. It’s selling limited-edition donut-shaped sponges created in partnership with Scrub Daddy. On top of that, the chain is selling some donut-themed merchandise online in partnership with Jelly Roll (the country singer, not the pastry).
Krispy Kreme
If you visit Krispy Kreme, you don’t even need to purchase anything to enjoy some freebies. All regular donuts, such as glazed and cake donuts, are free with no purchase required.
You might want to buy in bulk, though, if you want a special deal. If you buy a regularly priced dozen of donuts, they’ll throw in a dozen glazed donuts for just $2 extra.
7-Eleven
If you’re on the go, you can get a $1 glazed donut at all 7-Eleven locations across the country. The offer is only valid for 7Rewards loyalty program members.
Tim Hortons
Canadian import Tim Hortons is also participating in National Donut Day celebrations. Tims Rewards loyalty program members get a free donut with any drink purchase.
Sheetz
Sheetz is extending the party all weekend long. From June 7 through 9, you get a free donut when you buy any Sheetz Bros coffee or ready-to-drink coffee at any major gas stations, restaurants, and convenience store locations. You can find the deal on the Sheetz app under the “Offerz” tab.
Shipley Do-Nuts
You get a free glazed donut with any purchase at Shipley on June 7. The offer is valid in-store or online with the code DONUTDAY24.
Taco John’s
One probably wouldn’t think of going to a taco shop on National Donut Day, but Taco John’s is sweetening the deal. Members of its Bigger Bolder Rewards program get free Mexican Donut Bites with any purchase for one day only.
Duck Donuts
You’re in luck if you live near a Duck Donuts location. Stop in today and get a free cinnamon sugar donut. No purchase is necessary, but you can only get it in stores.
