Netflix has released the first trailer for its live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, giving many fans their first look at some iconic characters in their new iteration.

Adapted from the cult animated series of the same name, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 until 2008, Netflix’s new iteration concerns people who can “bend” one of the elements–water, fire, earth, or air. Gordon Cormier stars as Aang, the last airbender, as he teams up with Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) to defeat the evil Prince Zuko (Dallas Liu).

This new adaptation follows M. Night Shyamalan’s misguided and ill-received 2010 adaptation, which starred Dev Patel. Veteran actor Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) stars in the new series as Fire Lord Ozai, while George Takei and Amber Midthunder (Prey) will appear in guest roles.

All eight episodes of the first season will be available to stream on Netflix beginning February 22. You can check out the full trailer below.
