Woman Plans ‘Heartbreaking’ Birthday Party for Boyfriend

A woman on TikTok is opening up about an extravagant milestone birthday party she put together for her boyfriend that didn’t exactly go as planned. Speaking to the camera through tears, she recounted how the thoughtful gesture came together—and how quickly everything changed. 

“I will never be planning a birthday party or party for anyone ever again,” she said plainly. “I am planning my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and I got a huge rental property with pickleball courts and it’s going to have a taco caterer, and it’s so perfect. It has everything he loves.” She noted that his parents even pitched in to help bring the vision to life. “‘It’s going to be so nice and he’s gonna love it,'” she thought. 

Knowing how much he’d want his friends to be there, she reached out to many of them, but didn’t get the answers she was hoping for. 

“None of his friends are coming,” she lamented. “I invited about 20 of them and none of them can make it, and it’s heartbreaking. It’s disappointing, and I just don’t have the heart to tell him that.”

“I wanted this to be so special and I feel like it’s my fault. I feel like I let him down,” she lamented.

The video has since been deleted from her page, and it remains unclear just how the birthday party turned out. It’s safe to say, though, that her boyfriend might have millions of new friends who’d want to celebrate his big day with him.
